Kathy Houpt, our Head Tennis Professional offers many adult clinics, junior clinics, and other fun activities. The courts are open daily from 8AM to 10PM.

Why Har-Tru Courts at DCC?

HAR-TRU is made up of natural, crushed, green stone, making it environmentally friendly.

These courts reduce risk of injury. HAR-TRU courts are easier on the body than other types of courts. They allow a player to slide and recover under control, instead of having to slam down onto the court. With slower ball speed, it makes it a more enjoyable game.

These courts have cooler surface temperatures and dry quickly after rain, compared to other dark colored surfaces like asphalt.

Clay court play develops toughness, stamina, patience and strategy that hard court play does not. Playing on our clay courts is just like playing in the big leagues.
